Before sending your watch please email me to let me know it is coming.
-
Please use the contact form and fill it out as completely as possible with your questions. I will email you back and give you my shipping address and other contact information including my phone numbers and email address.
I reply to every form submission within 24 hours or less Monday - Friday with the exception of holidays. If you don't get a reply from me it is because 1 of 2 things happened.
(1) The email address you supplied was wrong. (This happens frequently even though I have added statements on the contact form to be sure it is right.)
(2) You use some sort of spam or blocking filter that has either filtered our email or blocked it.
For instance Earthlink users sometimes use something that requires us to fill out a few pages to verify that we are not sending spam email before it will deliver our original email. Since we deal with thousands of emails each month we do not have the time to waste filling out these same forms day after day for everyone that uses Earthlink. That wastes hours of our time and we just do not have that time to waste. Turn off the supposed 'feature' and you will get our email.

Please write your contact information including: your name, address, phone number and email address on a card or piece of paper. Then place it in the box with your watch.
I can not contact you if I don't know who you are.
Do not expect that your return address label will make it intact. Take the time to put your contact info INSIDE the box.
-
Wrap your watch in bubble wrap and place it in a box. Please do not over tape the watch. I don't want to scratch your watch trying to cut it out of the tape and bubble wrap.
The post office has free priority mail boxes. Ask for the small video box it works perfectly.
-
Do not ship to me in a padded envelope. Padded envelopes DO NOT protect your watch adequately. Any watch shipped to me in a padded envelope that incurs damage in shipping will cost extra to repair.
-
Fill the box full of packing material. More bubble wrap or peanuts work fine. It's to keep your watch from being bounced around inside the box. People like to shake things that rattle or make noise and shippers are the worst about this. I have seen this happen.
- Do not send gift boxes or the original boxes the watch came in. I can't store and keep track of them.
ANY OF THE BOXES DESCRIBED HERE (GIFT, ORIGINAL WATCH BOXES...) SENT WILL BE THROWN AWAY OR IF YOU REQUEST THAT IT BE RETURNED THERE WILL BE A $30 CHARGE FOR STORAGE AND TRACKING WHILE IT IS HERE.
THIS IS IN ADDITION TO ANY ESTIMATE FEE OR REPAIR CHARGES. NO EXCEPTIONS.
I do not have the space or time to try and keep track of these boxes.
-
When writing out your contact info on the card or paper be sure to explain what you would like done. You can also print out the email I send you for this purpose. I can easily trace back our emails and know what we talked about if I know who your are.
-
Without your contact info I won't be able to give an estimate or send the watch back.
-
You do not have to pay in advance. But if you would like to let us know so we can let you know what we need according to your prefered method of payment.
When paying by check I will ship the watch back 10 days after the check is deposited in my account. This is to be sure it clears.
-
NO watch will be shipped without payment. I do not ship C.O.D.
-
Ship your watch insured or registered mail.
Registered mail is the safest way to ship anything by any shipper. Every person that touches the package has to sign for it. So a written record is always available.
To ship Registered mail, the entire package needs to be taped with paper tape. The post office will supply the tape for free. Be sure the postmaster stamps EVERY tape seam in front of you.
-
Insure for the full Replacement value.
-
Put Delivery Confirmation on the package. That way YOU can check online to make sure it has been received. Do not email me asking if I received it.
We do not track packages for anyone. We are too busy to be tracking hundreds of packages for everyone each month. You are NOT paying us for this service. You are paying your shipping company for this service.
Any emails or calls asking if we recieved your package will be ignored.
-
If you ship your watch UPS or FEDEX. Understand that while they are more than willing to take your money for insurance they will not insure jewelry. They consider watches jewelry. Read their contract and the fine print. If you have to file a claim for damage or loss, these two carriers will NOT pay the claim.
